COACHING FAQ

What is personal coaching?

According to the International Coach Federation:

"Coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

Professional coaches provide an ongoing partnership designed to help clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives. Coaches help people improve their performances and enhance the quality of their lives.

Coaches are trained to listen, to observe and to customize their approach to individual client needs. They seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client; they believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful. The coach's job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has."

According to me, a coach is simply someone who comes along your side in order to encourage, empower, and support you as you discover and direct yourself toward your life purpose.

How is it done?

Each coaching relationship is different.  Tyically, when personal coaching, I will meet with clients over the phone.  The call typically takes 30 to 45 minutes.  During the call, I will ask some questions about the things you want to focus on.  I have some tools and models that will help you gain clarity and direction, but most of the coaching relationship will be about you, where you want to go and planning how to get you there.

When I coach couples, we typically meet face to face.  But the conversations still center around vison, purpose and goals.

How much does it cost?

The coaching relationship is a personal one and each coaching situation is unique.  I do have packages that I offer for specific amounts but I try to cater to the needs of my clients.
